New Protocol for Your Safety as We Reopen Our Shops

NEW YORK TATTOO SHOPS REOPENING

As you may already know, our Long Island shop has recently reopened and our New York City shop is scheduled to reopen on Monday July 6th.

While this is amazing news, the safety and well-being of you, our clients and our staff is extremely important to us. We have new protocol in place to make sure we continue to do our part in keeping the spread of COVID-19 to an absolute minimum.

FOR CLIENTS

  • No guests! Please come alone to your appointments.
  • Our waiting areas will be closed.
  • You will be let in at the time of your appointment. Just call and let us know you are here!
  • You will be required to wear a mask during your visit.
  • You will go through a quick health screening including a no-contact temperature check.
  • If you are not feeling well, please call or email us. We can reschedule your appointment, it’s not a problem.
  • We will no longer be using paper consent forms. We have a platform to do this on your personal electronic devices. This new software has a contact tracing feature to let us know if you or anyone at the shop has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • For walk-ins, call or email the shop first to see if there are any artists available. Please do not show up to either shop without checking first.

KINGS AVENUE TATTOO STAFF

  • Staff members will be tested for COVID-19 every 2 weeks.
  • Staff members will be wearing face masks.
  • Tattoo artists will be wearing face masks while tattooing, and will also have face guards available for use depending on the circumstance.

THE SHOPS

  • Both shops have custom acrylic sneeze guards in place at the front desks.
  • Our NYC shop will have custom acrylic dividers placed around all active tattoo stations for extra protection.
  • Our Long Island shop will have individual rooms for tattooing as usual, but blinds will be down for the small windows between rooms.
  • Both shops will be fully sterilized at the beginning, middle and end of each day with a 360 degree sprayer using a safe disinfectant.
  • High-touch areas will be disinfected often throughout the day (door knobs and handles, restroom areas, etc.)

Kings Avenue Tattoo has received the Personal Care Summary Guidelines for NY State and affirmations confirming we have met or exceeded all needed requirements for reopening.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, we look forward to seeing you all at the shops!

Hi. My BF and I are looking to be tattooed next week. Do you have any availability late Thursday or anytime Friday or Saturday or early Sunday?
