Nasa aspired to become a professional cartoonist, but as her interest in the fine arts grew, she turned instead to honing her own individual style. After moving to New York, she studied classic fine art under the guidance of accomplished portraitist Brandon Soloff, furthering her skills at institutions like The Art Students League of New York and the National Academy School of Fine Arts. Much of her inspiration comes from her childhood love of anime and manga, and it has made a major impact on her current stylistic approach.
