Arguably 2 of the most well known Japanese tattooers are Horiyoshi II and Horiyoshi III.
However there is a common misconception because these 2 are completely unrelated and come from different families. The late Horiyoshi II comes from Tokyo and the Kuronuma family while living legend Horiyoshi III comes from Yokohama.
